What to do
Track One – Collect as many discs as you can!
We want to make the Disc Drive the biggest appeal ever and collect over 250,000 CDs, DVDs and computer games.
Taking part is easy – just a few discs can make a difference!
Ask your friends and family if they have any old CDs, DVDs or computer games they don’t want any more.
Has mum or dad got any old CDs they want to get rid of?!
Surely they’ll never watch those old DVDs again!?
Try and only collect discs we can sell in Barnardo’s shops – we can’t sell copied discs or items that are damaged.
Track Two – get your school involved!
Tell your teacher you want your school to support the Disc Drive. Just click here to order a Collection Pack, then your whole school could be collecting discs!
Track Three – donate those discs!
Click here to find your nearest Donation Station – any Barnardo’s shop, Lloyds TSB bank or local BBC Radio Station.
* Schools that collect over 80 discs can have them collected by DHL – see the back of the School Poster for details!
Track Four
Come back here or tune into Blue Peter on BBC One and the CBBC Channel to see how the Disc Drive is going!
